IMT Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as IMTE) aims to spread domestically and internationally the first indoor closed circulation shrimp production system (ISPS) developed through joint research with Japanese research institutes. An engineering company established in December 2013, taking over the operations of its predecessor, IMT Co., Ltd.

IMTE wants to provide safe and delicious shrimp that do not use any chemicals.

Japan's first ISPS shrimp farming demonstration plantwas built in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture.

After that, IMTE will proceed with the improvement of the initial ISPS plant technology, and in July 2022, Iwata City, Shizuoka PrefectureImproved ISPS shrimp farming plantwas constructed as a joint venture with Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., and commercial production and sales of vannamei shrimp have begun.

In addition, in July 2022, we will open the IMTE Technical Research Institute on the premises of the Iwata Plant.

We have started a full-fledged land-based aquaculture consulting business that utilizes the experience and knowledge we have gained so far, and have established a system that can respond to the diversifying needs of everyone, such as the launch of new businesses.
